These devices reflect the consolidated experience acquired over the years by C.M.P. Officine Meccaniche S.r.l. in the construction of auxiliary machinery connected to the steel making process, with the aim of simultaneously fulfilling productivity and safety requirements in this sector. These remote controlled machines make it possible to achieve reliable measurement of temperature, of oxygen and sampling for chemical analysis, in the molten steel bath, in the electric furnace, or in the ladle furnace. Some versions are equipped with an emergency device to be used in the ladle furnace in the event of clogging of the porous plug, for inert gas injection.
